Today, I am excited to share that we secured $188M in a new funding round, at a valuation of $1.19B (read more here). At the outset, I want to thank our employees, partners, investors and most importantly, our customers for this important milestone. The funding follows a year of unmatched innovation that led to accelerated revenue growth, installed base growth, and rapid community adoption of our open source projects.

Today we’re excited to announce a new product tier—Snyk Team—designed to help development teams empower themselves to build applications securely, together! No development team wants to write an application that gets hacked—but many don’t have the skills or budget to use the application security tools currently offered in the market.

On 15th April we were delighted to attend the Digital City Awards online ceremony where we scooped two wins, the Cyber Security Project of the Year and the major award category, The Digital City Innovation of the Year Award. This award recognises the novel product or service which has revolutionised the way things are done and made a real difference in its intended field.

To be shortlisted by the SC judges, in what is now our fifth successive year as a finalist, is a source of pride for the whole Redscan team. We’ve been recognised at the SC Awards in the past, with high commendations in 2020, 2019 and 2017, as well as the award for Best Customer Service in 2018.

We are excited to announce that Nightfall DLP for GitHub now has two plans available: Pro and Enterprise. Both plans allow you to discover, classify and protect sensitive information in any GitHub organization by actively scanning your codebase for secrets, credentials, PII, and other business-critical data to notify you of data policy violations. The Enterprise plan provides the additional ability to scan the commit history of any repo within your GitHub org.

As part of Styra’s vision for unified authorization, we founded the Open Policy Agent project (OPA) to make policy-based control of the cloud-native stack accessible to everyone. OPA has now grown to become the de facto standard for authorization across the stack, leading to a large part of the community looking for ways to manage the OPA policy-as-code lifecycle.
