Last week, we had the opportunity to attend both BSides San Francisco and RSA, where we were able to connect with other cybersecurity professionals and showcase some of our latest developments.

RSA 2023 is a wrap, but that doesn’t mean we are finished with the annual event. Sharing information, success stories, and lessons learned lies at the heart of RSA. And after a week of talking to attendees and pundits, giving demos, and gleaning knowledge from a slew of sessions, it’s going to take some time to sort through all the treasure from that trove of knowledge. With the dust now settled and life returning to some semblance of normalcy, we’ve still been ruminating on our week in San Francisco. It was an incredible and busy week, with a lot of top notch sessions, discussions, and of course the bustling expo. We compiled some of our daily thoughts after each full-day at the show, which you can read here, but now with some perspective, we wanted to share our four most memorable takeaways from RSA Conference 2023.

This April brought back Tanium’s first federal customer user conference since the pandemic screeched onsite events to a halt in 2020. In a reimagined style, our teams brought back a re-invigorated experience that took place in Tyson’s Corner, the heart of the DC region’s tech corridor. The event was comprised of several keynotes, panels, breakout sessions and labs, that cultivated dialogue around key strategic cybersecurity initiatives impacting the federal technology space.

With the first full day of RSAC 2023 in the books, we wanted to publish a running diary of some of the key takeaways and themes that we are hearing on the show floor and at the various sessions we’re attending.
