Trust, respect, understanding. These are all two-way relationships that must be earned over time. Whilst someone being hired in a senior position will likely already have a certain level of each, part of your job is to continuously cultivate all three of these elements with colleagues no matter your grade. When working within a cybersecurity practice, it is critically important to have this level of understanding across large swaths of the workforce, from the senior level to operations teams.

Hackers and cyber criminals have evolved social engineering tactics to trick unsuspecting individuals into divulging private information or valuable credentials. One such evolving tactic is typosquatting, a form of social engineering attack that tries to lure users into visiting malicious websites with URLs that are common misspellings of legitimate sites.

NERC is a non-profit organization that sets industry standards, educates and trains industry personnel and provides guidelines for grids. It is a non-profit organization whose main aim is to provide necessary regulations that reduce the risks regarding reliability and security.
