How to Add Proxmox VE Host for Backup | BDRSuite

Welcome to the BDRSuite How-to Series! In this video, we will guide you through the process of adding a Proxmox host for backup using BDRSuite.

Follow along with our step-by-step instructions to ensure a smooth setup.

  1. Log into the BDRSuite Backup Server console. Navigate to the 'Data Sources - Hypervisors - Proxmox VE' menu.
  2. Download and Install the BDRSuite Delegation Service (BDS) on the Proxmox host.
  3. Upon successful installation, BDS automatically connects the Proxmox VE host to the backup server.
  4. Proxmox host listed as a Data Source for backup, after which you can configure backup for Proxmox virtual machines and protect them.
