How to Add a KVM Host for Backup | BDRSuite
Welcome to the BDRSuite How-to Series! In this video, we will guide you through the process of adding a KVM host for backup using BDRSuite.
Steps Covered:
- Log into the BDRSuite Backup Server console. Navigate to the 'Data Sources - Hypervisors - KVM' menu.
- Download and Install the BDRSuite Delegation Service (BDS) on the KVM host.
- Upon successful installation, BDS automatically connects the KVM host to the backup server.
- KVM host listed as a Data Source for backup, after which you can configure backup for KVM virtual machines and protect them.
