How to Add a KVM Host for Backup | BDRSuite

Welcome to the BDRSuite How-to Series! In this video, we will guide you through the process of adding a KVM host for backup using BDRSuite.

Steps Covered:

  1. Log into the BDRSuite Backup Server console. Navigate to the 'Data Sources - Hypervisors - KVM' menu.
  2. Download and Install the BDRSuite Delegation Service (BDS) on the KVM host.
  3. Upon successful installation, BDS automatically connects the KVM host to the backup server.
  4. KVM host listed as a Data Source for backup, after which you can configure backup for KVM virtual machines and protect them.
