Tanium Ask Agent is an artificial intelligence (AI) agent that surfaces actionable insights about your environment, proposes tasks based on the insights, and helps you implement the tasks. This AI-enhanced guidance improves the productivity and accuracy of your Tanium workflows by combining agent automation for efficiency and human-in-the-loop participation for user control. You interact with the Agent by entering prompts (requests) in the Tanium Ask panel, which is accessible from anywhere in Tanium Console. The Agent responds by running tasks such as querying endpoints, deploying software, or retrieving information about Tanium solutions. The Agent can automatically perform the steps to address your request, such as generating values for the settings in a software deployment configuration.
