How to configure Offsite Copy for Disaster Recovery
In this BDRSuite video, I'll show you how to configure Offsite Copy/DR for diaster recovery.
BDRSuite’s Offsite Copy option enhances disaster recovery by creating additional backup copies at offsite locations. With flexible storage and seamless recovery, it ensures business continuity.
Steps covered:
- Getting Started: Download & Install Offsite DR Server.
- Configure Offsite Repository: In the Offsite DR Server, configure On-Premise/Remote storage or your own public cloud storage as a storage target to store offsite data.
- Configure Offsite DR Settings: In the BDRSuite Backup Server, configure the additional settings and save them.
- Manage Offsite Copy Jobs: Monitor offsite progress, view detailed reports, and manage offsite jobs through the dashboard.
- Recover Offsite Copy data: In the Offsite DR Server, navigate to the 'Recovery' tab and choose 'Restore Backup Data' option to initiate the recovery process.
