How to Add PostgreSQL Database Server (Linux) as a Data Source for Backup | BDRSuite
Welcome to the BDRSuite How-to Series! In this video, we will guide you through the process of adding a PostgreSQL Database Server on Linux as a backup data source
Steps Covered:
- Log in to the BDRSuite Backup Server console. Navigate to Applications & DBs menu.
- Go to the 'Data Sources - PostgreSQL Database Server - Linux' menu.
- Download and Install the BDRSuite Backup Agent on each machine from which you plan to backup the databases
- Upon successful installation, backup agent automatically connects the target host to the backup server and is listed as a Data Source for backup
- You can then configure database-level backup and protect the databases.
