Why Leading Energy Companies Trust Radiy for Critical Infrastructure Solutions
Companies use different technologies and approaches to improve efficiency, depending on the industry, size and objectives of the business. Industrial companies increase efficiency by using modern technologies, process optimization and innovation.
Which technologies and approaches does the company use to improve efficiency?
- Automation and robotics. In particular, automated production lines reduce the human factor, increasing the speed and quality of production.
- Industry 4.0 and digital technologies.
- Lean Manufacturing and flexible methodologies.
- Optimization of energy consumption and environmental friendliness. For example, energy management is the implementation of electrical energy management systems to reduce costs.
- Implementation of cybersecurity and IT solutions.
Results of implementing these approaches:
- Reduced production costs
- Increased productivity of equipment and personnel
- Reduced rejects and waste;
- Flexibility and adaptation to market changes.
Automation as the key to stable and safe production processes
Modern production processes require high precision, stability and safety. Automation helps to minimize the human factor, reduce the risk of accidents and increase efficiency.
How does automation ensure stability?
- Continuous monitoring: monitoring systems and sensors monitor critical parameters in real time, preventing failures.
- Failure prediction: artificial intelligence-based analytics can detect potential malfunctions before they occur.
- Process optimization: automated systems control production lines, reducing outage and raw stock losses.
How does automation improve security?
- Minimizing the human factor - reducing the risk of errors and injuries, especially in hazardous industries.
- Automatic emergency systems - quick response to emergency situations (fires, gas leaks, power surges, etc.).
- Remote control - the ability to control processes from a safe distance, including via IoT and SCADA systems.
Automation is an investment in the future: it ensures stable, safe and competitive production.
How can the integration of modern solutions minimize risks and increase productivity?
Radiy contribution
Research and Production Corporation Radiy (radiy)is located in Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine. The main area of work is the development, manufacture and supply of modern control software and hardware for nuclear and thermal power facilities and other industrial facilities with increased safety requirements. The company performs the modernization of instrumentation and control systems for power reactors of Soviet (Russian) projects V 213, 302, 338, 320.
The national manufacturer has experience in developing and supplying an integrated instrumentation and control system for the research reactor of the Institute for Nuclear Research in Kyiv.
Real cases and examples of successful implementation of radiy technologies
Project for the Institute for Nuclear Research
Radiy has developed and commissioned an integrated instrumentation and control system for the VVER-M research reactor of the Institute for Nuclear Research in Kyiv. The original name of the system is Instrumentation and Control System for Research Reactor (Automatic Regulation, Control, Management and Protection). The system was developed on the basis of hardware and technologies tested on power reactors. The company implemented all subsystems necessary for reliable and safe operation of the research reactor, including neutron flux control.
The system was successfully commissioned in March 2008.
Ukrainian innovations ensure Europe's energy security!
Ukrainian innovations play an important role in strengthening Europe's energy security by providing reliable technologies for the modernization and safe operation of nuclear power plants. Thanks to the developments of Ukrainian engineers, European countries receive effective solutions for stable energy supply and energy independence.
