What is Kubernetes (K8s)?
Today's term is Kubernetes, a tool that helps manage and automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Kubernetes, also known as K8s, is used to orchestrate containers, which are isolated packages of an application, across multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
Containerization is a form of application virtualization that allows organizations to run multiple containers on a single host, sharing the same operating system kernel, rather than creating a new virtual machine for each application. This allows for increased efficiency and portability of applications.
